The building's original hardwood stayed. In the boardroom we fitted carpet inside a contrasting navy border, cut to the room's shape and run around the long conference table and the furniture along the walls.
The offices got the same bordered carpet, and the hallways got runners laid down the center of the old wood floor, so the hardwood still shows along both sides.
